Great display of pitching and defense by both teams. Pirates' Andrew Young knocked in the game winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning with a single to score Ryan Kline. Young also knocked in the Pirates other run in the 1st.

Abbotsford had tied the game in the 6th when Keenan Takatch hit an RBI single.

Winning pitcher Nick Peruzzo went 3 innings allowing 4 hits with 1 K. Nanaimo starter Danny Britton-Foster went seven innings striking out 5, allowing 5 hits and 4 walks wiith one run.
For the Cardinals, starter Kirk Haviland went six innings allowing 1 run, 6 hits, 2 walks and 4 Ks. In relief Shane Kraemer went three plus innings allowing 1 run, with Ks, 4 hits and a walk.
