Playing their fifth game in less than 36 hours, the Twins had gas left in the tank for the championship game. The star of the game was Derek Sinke (All-Conference 1st team) who pitched a complete game six hitter and went 3 for 4 at the plate with 3 RBI.

North Shore scored seven runs on five hits in the 3rd inning to build up an 8-1 lead. Alex Wishnicki went 2 for 4, and Jordan Olar 2 for 3 with a wallk & 2 runs led an 11 hit attack. Dave Hole added a two RBI double and Michael Crouse also hit a double.

For the Pirates, CF Greg Wallace (All-conference 1st team) went 3 for 4 with two doubles.
