| In a game rescheduled to Monday after the Sunday rainouts, the Twins had a 7-1 lead at the end of the 5th behind starter Taylor Kipnes and appeared to be in command until the point North Shore went to the Bullpen. The Pirates jumped all over the struggling Twins relievers scoring 2 in the 6th, 4 in the 7th to tie the game and another 4 in the 8th to take the lead. The Pirates held off a late 3 run charge by the Twins in the bottom of the eighth for the victory. Cody Chartrand went 4 for 5 with 3 RBIs for Nanaimo while Kolk, Kelly, Huggins and Andreychuk each had a pair of hits. Andrew Madsen's double in the 8th gave him a 2 for 3 game with 4 RBIs and Halim and Armstrong had a pair of hits. |
