Sunny baseball weather greated the North Delta Blue Jays at Mackie Park as they took on the North Shore Twins in the second game of a double header.
The Twins Mitch Rainer went the distance on the mound for the win while Blue Jay Mitch Harrington was tagged with the loss. Defensive Blue Jay highlight in the top of the 7th saw LF Bryan Elias catching two deep hard hit fly balls down the 3rd base line.
The North Shore Twins scattered 11 hits, 5 of which came in a big Twin 3rd inning, with Dylan Brommeland leading the way going 3/4 and Andrew Madsen following going 2/3. For the Jays, Tyson Popoff and Trevor Hodgins went 2/3 each and Bryan Elias 1/2. the Blue Jays 4 RBIs each came from Popoff, Elias and Anthony Kops. |
