Twins starter Ty Walker and Cardinals starter Carter Sherban both went the distance, both recorded no earned runs and the 1 unearned run scored by the Twins proved the difference in the game. Offense was scarce on both sides with Sherban allowing only 4 Twins hits and Walker only 2 Cardinals hits.
