BCs Best UPDATE

Mon May 18th - Twins win championship game 5-1 over the Mariners. North Shore's starting and winning pitcher Cam Foster went 5 innings allowing just one run on one hit. Foster was named North Shore MVP for the game.

Sat May 16 - Low scoring well pitched close games could be the description for the majority of the games played today. Reds' David Otterman threw a complete game two-hitter in a 3-0 win over Vancouver. After that game Reds TJ Watson shut out Parksville 1-0 allowing just four hits. Royals hurler Paul Barton threw a one-hitter in taking the loss. Vancouver's Allan Rimer threw a complete game four hitter in a 3-1 over White Rock. Twins' Ty Walker allowed just two hits in 2-1 win over Nanaimo.

Fri May 15 - Kelowna Cubs finished first in pool A after all three teams (Kelowna, Nanaimo and Abbotsford) finished 1 and 1.
 
Langley won two games with Preston Carlile hitting home runs in each game. Blaze hitters Kellin Deglan, Jeremy Filipek and Carlile all hit home runs in the 6th inning again White Rock.

Nanaimo's Shane Kelly hit a home run against the Cubs in a 4-3 loss. Cubs' winning pitcher Dawson Newman struck out 10.
 
Royals' Ethan Stewart threw a complete game two-hitter against the Cannons.
