Kamloops, BC — The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack will become the first team in the Canadian College Baseball Conference to webcast their games. The WolfPack are planning to webcast all their home games beginning on Friday, April 6th at Norbrock Stadium against the defending league champion Prairie Baseball Academy Dawgs. The webcasts will feature Nathan Crosby as the teams play by play man. Crosby was the voice of the ‘WolfPack volleyball and basketball webcasts’ for the last two seasons. He also worked as part of the broadcast crew on the 2011 BC Intercollegiate Hockey League Championship webcasts. “It’s great that Nathan has volunteered to do these games,” says WolfPack Sports Information Officer Larry Read. “He is a fourth year journalism student with a lot of talent and drive. The experience he will garner will certainly help him get a job in the broadcast industry.” Crosby is currently the Sports Editor of the TRU Student news paper “The Omega”. He will be webcasting all the WolfPack home games in the month of April. It’s not known who will do the games after that. You can catch the action on www.livestream.com/wolfpackbaseball. Friday’s (April 6) game has a 6 pm PDT start time. A number of WolfPack players will act as color commentators for the games.
