Webster Leads the Way for UBC Scott Webster (North Shore Twins) had a great weekend for UBC, going 5-7 with 4 Runs scored and 3 RBI's in his team's 2 losses to Concordia. Scott currently ranks 3rd in team average (.333) and 1st in home runs (4)
Jacob Yousif a Top Performer at U of Texas-Brownsville Jacob Yousif (North Delta Blue Jays), a sophomore Outfielder for the University of Texas at Brownsville (NAIA) is among the leaders in many offensive categories for his team. Yousif currently leads his team in At Bats (137); Hits (46); Doubles (10); HBP (13); SF (4), SH (10); is 3rd in slugging (.489), and 4th in average (.336). TX at Brownsville is 5-4 in Red River Conference play and 18 - 25 overall.
Dayleg Has Productive Week for Western Kentucky Terrance Dayleg went for 7-13 this week in a loss to Kentucky and 3 game sweep of Florida International. The Junior shortstop from the Fraser Valley Chiefs, also scored 4 times and drove in 5 runs. Dayleg is now batting .356, good enough for third best on his Western Kentucky Hilltoppers team. Dayleg was a Pre-Season All Sunbelt Conference selection and last summer played for the Harwich Mariners of the much heralded Cape Cod league.
