RHP Adam Paulencu of the VIBI Mariners has been named "2011 Male Team Athlete of the Year"  at the 2012 Nanaimo Sport Achievement Awards. Adam had an outstanding season in the CCBC and was later drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 13th round of the 2011 MLB Draft. He signed a professional contract with the Giants in June.
