Coquitlam Reds Crowned Best of the West Champions in Kamloops

The Coquitlam Reds put together a dominant weekend performance to capture the Best of the West15U Premier Showcase title in Kamloops, capping it off with an impressive 6–0 victory over the Langley Blaze in the championship final.

In the semifinal, the Reds handled PBR with a convincing 6–1 victory.

Their playoff push began in the quarterfinals, where Coquitlam earned an 8–5 win over the Delta Blue Jays in a hard-fought contest.

The Reds opened the tournament with mixed results in pod play:

• A narrow 4–2 loss to the North Shore Twins
• A dominant 11–1 win over the Red Deer Rangers

The Reds showcased a complete team effort throughout the tournament, combining timely hitting, strong pitching, and steady defense against some of the top programs in Western Canada.  The Reds have had an outstanding start to the 2026 BCPBL season as shown by their league record of 13-2.
