The Langley Blaze have captured the 2025 BCPBL Premier Provincial Championship with a thrilling run through Championship Weekend.

The Blaze opened their title campaign on Thursday with a tense 2-1 win over the Delta Blue Jays, followed by a hard-fought 6-4 victory over the UBC Thunder on Friday morning. A narrow 1-0 loss to the Abbotsford Cardinals later that day meant Langley would have to take the long road to the title.

Needing a win to stay alive, the Blaze responded with a dominant 6-0 shutout over the Mid Island Pirates on Saturday to punch their ticket to Championship Sunday — where the stakes were at their highest. Facing an Abbotsford Cardinals team that had already beaten them, the Blaze needed to win two straight games to claim the title.

Game one saw the Blaze bounce back in a big way, riding a complete team effort to a 6-2 win to force the winner-take-all final. With the championship on the line, Langley came out firing and never looked back, blanking the Cardinals 4-0 to secure the 2025 Provincial crown.
