Langley Blaze Crowned 2026 BCPBL Bantam Champions

The Langley Blaze are the 2026 BC Premier Baseball League Bantam Champions after defeating the Coquitlam Reds 6-4 in Saturday's championship game, capping an outstanding week of baseball with a perfect 5-0 tournament record.

Entering the championship tournament on an 18-game winning streak, the Blaze continued their impressive run by extending it to 23 consecutive victories, showcasing outstanding pitching, timely hitting, and solid team defense throughout the tournament.

Langley opened tournament play with three victories in pool play, defeating the UBC Thunder 9-3, the Victoria Eagles 4-1, and the Abbotsford Cardinals 6-3 to earn a place in Championship Saturday.

In the semifinal, the Blaze continued their dominant play with a convincing 7-1 victory over White Rock, advancing to the championship game against the Coquitlam Reds.

The final featured two of the league's top clubs battling for the provincial title. Langley built an early lead before holding off a determined Coquitlam comeback to secure the 6-4 victory and claim the 2026 BC Premier Bantam Championship.
